ADOLESCENT AND ADULT INTERMEDIATE LEVEL TRAINING CLASS
Training for enrichment and real life distractions
Rachael & Barley
"The Intermediate Classes were excellent. The sessions were well structured, enjoyable for both dogs and owners and the activities covered just the things I needed to work on with my dog. The group size was also very good; large enough for group work and small enough for plenty of individual attention."
WHO IS SUITABLE FOR THIS COURSE?
This course is suitable for dogs that have done some basic training, such as puppy class, and are 6 months or above. (If your dog has not had puppy / basic training then please look at the Puppy/ Novice group).
It is particularly suitable for adolescent dogs and before social maturity kicks in at 3-4 yrs of age. This can be a challenging time for dogs and owners, and this course will help you both navigate this. This is an exclusive small group of 4 dogs with max two people per dog to allow enough space and individual support.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS COURSE
At this level we will work to make behaviour and skills more reliable in everyday situations, including when there are distractions about. We continue to do so through motivational training techniques with a focus on the bond between dogs and owners. We have some fun in this course interspersing the normal training skills with a mix of exercises including scent work which is incredibly beneficial to dogs.
