"I have attended Carolyn's puppy training class and currently on the intermediate level. I have an extremely lively and easily distracted young terrier. I had lost my confidence training my young dog after attending another course. Unfortunately the trainer had little time to offer individual advice due to the large class size. My terrier was overwhelmed and could not cope with the busy environment.

Carolyn's classes and training approach is the complete opposite. Class sizes are small, which means she has time to demonstrate and explain the task she has set. This is followed with each dog and their owners to practice their technique. Carolyn is always available and goes round to each participant. This is reinforced with youtube training videos, sent after each session. Carolyn's classes are calm and informative. I have learnt so much and have seen such a vast difference in my young dog's behaviour. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with him and realise that he learns through play not just from lovely walks. Following Carolyn's blogs emphasise that dogs respond to a variety of interactions with their owners and to understand their needs. I can't recommend Carolyn's classes enough, the bond with my dog is so much stronger because of the techniques I have learned"

Carolyn is an amazing trainer! Not only do you get the sessions but you get video follow ups via email with additional tips and advice. We have done puppy and intermediate and are booked onto gundog training for our sprocker spaniel. What I like most about Carolyn is how "real" her training is. She has advice for nuonces with your individual dog and talks from experience about her own dogs. She doesn't pretend there's a "one fit" for all dogs. Her advice that training is for engagement primarily and the dogs getting things right is secondary has changed my relationship with my dog. I have learnt so many long term principles around training from Carolyn that will far outlast the course. I cannot recommend this training enough!

The puppies had regular play sessions, great for socialising, and it was great to watch the puppies grasp what was expected of them, all done by praise and reward. "I have a 10 month old British bulldog called Archie. Despite my best efforts he would never wait for his food and he would pull so hard on the lead when going for walks that nobody else could walk him anymore. Within minutes of my 1 to 1 session Archie was sitting and waiting for treats and I was learning easy techniques to help him stop jumping up. I also learned great tips to stop him pulling on walks and slowly but surely we are getting there. I couldn't recommend the 1 to 1 session enough, fantastic value for money and worth every penny, the improvement is unbelievable and quality time with Archie has improved massively!"
