CLASSES IN WYMONDHAM, NORFOLK
As a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), and the PPG, I subscribe fully to their codes of conduct and motto of Kind, Fair and Effective dog training without any force or punishment.
VENUE
Kett's Park Community & Recreation Centre in Wymondham, within easy reach of the A11 and Norwich.
A good size hall with heating, toilet facilities, and a cafe, as well as lots of outside space in the park when needed.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTDogs learn quicker when they enjoy the training and this is key to my training methods. This style of training also strengthens the bond between dog and owner and improves their quality of life. This should never be sacrificed when striving to change behaviour.
All my courses include full training guide and videos to aid your learning. Courses also incorporate teaching about dog behaviour. My goal is to teach owners to understand their dogs and give owners the skills required to feel confident as compassionate dog parents.
SMALL CLASSES
Maximum of five/six dogs to ensure enough space for each dog and handler in the hall and that everyone gets the attention and help required.
VIEW BEFORE YOU BUY
Should you wish to observe a dog class before booking your dog onto a course to make sure it is right for you and your dog, you are more than welcome to come along and watch by prior arrangement.
PUPPY AND NOVICE TRAINING COURSE
Suitable for puppies from their second vaccination and older dogs with no or limited training experience.
Online option also available.
PROGRESS COURSE / INTERMEDIATE
For dogs that have attended puppy class or other basic training. Progressing training beyond the basics and introduction to some agility obstacles.
ON-LINE PUPPY/NOVICE COURSE.
You can do the entire Puppy/Novice training program from the comfort of your own home and at a time that suits you.
ADVANCED DOG
TRAINING COURSE
For dogs that have completed the Intermediate training course or have other suitable training experience.
GUN-DOG
TRAINING FOR PET DOGS
An introduction to gun-dog training for Gun-Dog breeds, but all breeds welcome.
For work or for fun.
EARLY PUPPY ADVICE
Bad habits can often be created in the very first few weeks of bringing a puppy home. Avoid all these with an early Zoom appointment backed up by written advice and training videos.

I have been training dogs and helping owners professionally since I underwent training and became a member of the APDT in 2004. Soon thereafter gained my Advanced Diploma in Animal Behaviour and Training.
I am fascinated by dogs and I never stop learning. I undertake regular further training and love reading anything to do with dogs, be it training, behaviour, or health.
Compassion lies at the heart of my training. I really believe that dog training should be fun both for my human clients and for their dogs. So much more can be achieved when both you and your dog enjoy training together. The positive bond you have with your dog is the single most important aspect and my training methods will serve to make this something very special.
Our Canine friends think very differently to us, and I help my clients to “Think Dog” in order to understand their dogs better. The ability to "Think Dog" makes all interactions much easier, and many problems can be prevented or overcome without resorting to any confrontation.
