Classes are held at Kett's Park and Recreation Centre in Wymondham, within easy reach of the A11 and Norwich.
We have access to a good size hall and lots of outside space in the park when needed.
My courses are so much more than just dog training. They are an entire educational package for dogs and owners incorporating both behaviour aspects and training. The courses also incorporate a large amount of resources in the form on written and video instructions for everything we do, which clients have access to for years to come. My goal is to grow the bond between dog and owner and make owners feel confident as a dog parent. Please look at the individual course pages for more details.
Classes are limited to a maximum of five/six dogs.
The small class sizes ensure enough space for each dog and handler in the hall and that everyone gets the attention and help required.
Should you wish to observe a dog class before booking your dog onto a course, you are more than welcome to come along and watch by prior arrangement.
For dates, times, availability, and further details, please visit the relevant page for the class you are interested in.
Training is entirely reward based through use of food, games, praise, and life rewards. In contrast with traditional obedience training, I use a game-based approach to training as research clearly show that dogs learn quicker this way and it strengthens the bond between dog and owner. However, for dogs to learn, owners need to acquire the skills to train their dogs. Training at CD Dog Training is therefore as much about training people as dogs, and I see every client as my student.
As a member of the APDT, and the PPG, I subscribe fully to their codes of conduct and the motto of Kind, Fair and Effective dog training without any force or punishment.
